The Creative Community is comprised of three core groups: creative industries, independent creative retailers and artists who work across all art platforms. Our artists, retailers and creative industries often help us to deliver our programmes and to create our marketing materials; assist with, exhibit or partake in gallery shows; work with our Participation team and collectively add to the Bluecoat’s ability to deliver its mission to engage, innovate and excel. Their work means the Bluecoat is a production house as well as an arts centre.
There are 22 studios at the Bluecoat, Liverpool's most historic building, including eight creative industry spaces accommodating graphic designers, illustrators, arts editors, charities and more. We also house nine independent retail units, selling a variety of handmade and unique items, from textiles to ceramics.
If you are interested in being a part of the Creative Community please contact the Creative Enterprise Manager on 0151 702 5328.
