Bed-In Day 10- "BUDDISM" Bed-In

If you visited the Bed-In today you will have found “three wise monkeys”.....Mary, Dave and Michael from Khedrup Je Study Centre, Liverpool, participating in their very own “Buddhist BED-IN”.

Bed-In at the Bluecoat: Mersey Marauders

It’s a Bed-In kick off today!  As Liverpool and Everton go through there pre match warm ups before they meet each other on the football pitch, Paul Aman is going through his own pre match warm up before entering the bed. Pauls warm up may not be as intense as the two derby teams, involving as it does the drinking of tea and the placing of the Mersey Marauders FC banners.

Bed-In at the Bluecoat: Chuck Perkins

Dressed in the appropriate bed time attire vest, boxers, hat, Chuck Perkins the poet from New Orleans takes to the bed. He soon begins to welcome the groups of curious bystanders, sharing his love of lost jazz pioneers and the works of Tom Robbins and many Mardi Gras trinkets. Answering questions, which range from the fate of his hometown after Katrina to the buyout of Liverpool FC with a relaxed air.

Bed-In at the Bluecoat: I Don't Believe In.... Matthew Lloyd

My bed-in performance was a continuation of John Lennon’s song God - his famous song where he made a list of things he didn’t believe in. The new list was my own, of all the things I didn’t believe in, I would then paint all of my words on the bed. The public where also invited to show there involvement, they too where able to write on a roll of paper - opposite the bed - of all the things they themselves did not believe in.

Bed-In at the Bluecoat: Me and John Lennon - Jason T Richardson

For a man who has won the Weakest Link Jason T Richardson enters the Bluecoat unassumingly to begin preparations for his bed. Not only does this include the donning of a pair of pyjamas but also to decorate the space with a series of handwritten signs, giving the Bed-In a ‘let’s put the show on her’ feel.
