Rock, Pop and Soul

Experience contemporary a cappella singing including soulful harmonies and vocal techniques. Led by Saphena Aziz and Perri Alleyne-Hughes.

Saphena and Perri are founder members of Sense of Sound and are both choral directors, vocal arrangers and creators of new work. Migration Music performed at The Everyman theatre for which Saphena was the script writer and Perri the Musical Director was one of their most recent successes.

Their unique blend of rhythmic, improvised and choral interplay will see them delivering an a cappella Singing Day at this year’s Chorus festival at The Southbank in April. They bring contemporary approaches to a diverse range of musical genres in a style that has now become synonymous with Sense of Sound.

They are delighted to be kick starting this year’s exciting programme of Singing Days and wish to welcome Joe Bunker and Ranjana Ghatak on board with much appreciation and a very warm Liverpool welcome.

Tickets: £25 / £20
