Phil Olsen is currently studying for a Masters in Creative Writing at The University of Manchester’s Centre for New Writing. Blogging for us throughout our Comma Press Short Story Course, Phil kept us up to date with the skills, techniques and genres the group were studying.
Since the end of June this year, a group of our Blue Room members have been working closely with dance artist Mary Prestidge from the Liverpool Improvisation Collective as part of our dance programme INHABIT.
On Sat 6 Aug historian and writer Catherine Morris will lead a workshop on Life Writing at Bluecoat. Here she explains the concept of life writing, what the workshop will cover, and gives some background on her own experience of writing.
