Dance and Performance at Bluecoat

Bluecoat's programme of New Dance for New Audiences, INHABIT continues into its third year. INHABIT brings to the foreground the work of three dance artists resident at Bluecoat - Jo Blowers, Paula Hampson Mary Prestidge - alongside visiting guest artists.

We are delighted to offer a range of exciting dance and performance events as well as regular workshops.

Kicking off the new season here at Bluecoat, London based dance artist and choreographer Joe Moran will be taking over our gallery spaces by day and putting on an exclusive, unique performance by night. On the Habit of Being Oneself is an arresting dance experiment placing full-bodied dancing under the spotlight.

Bluecoat continues to host monthly CI Sundays through to the new year. Contact Improvisation is a revolutionary form of movement, ever evolving, that has shone light on new imaginings for dance since 1972.

The start of autumn also sees the start of the much anticipated LEAP Festival (Fri 2 - Mon 12 Nov), which we are proud to announce features several of our studio artists.
