2. Christmas shopping in our Creative Community

We have a number of independent retailers within our creative community here at Bluecoat, so if you’re looking for that unique gift for someone special, you might just find it here.

Our retailers include;

Kernaghan Books - Specialising in rare and collectible books whilst also stocking your everyday classics.

Lalligrass -  A family business who specialise in the arts and crafts of the Himalayas. Including anything from rugs to statues, their shop is full of handmade items.

Mary Mary Florals and Root Houseplants - The latest addition to our community and already a hit with the locals, they sell bouquets, houseplants large and small and everything in between.

They’re also hosting a hand-tied bouquet workshop on Tuesday 18th December at 6pm.

Spellbound Hair & Makeup- Look your best this Christmas and visit our onsite salon Spellbound, or book that special someone in for some much needed pampering.

3. Visit Our Exhibitions

Our gallery and exhibition spaces are open throughout the Christmas period, closing only for Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year's day. So if you’re looking for something to do when your Christmas shopping is done and dusted, pop in and browse our free exhibitions. Or, whilst the family is over and you’re looking for something to do between Christmas and New Year’s, bring them to Bluecoat for an afternoon of coffee, cake, and art.
